Mohd Rashidi Bin Che Beson

Dr. Mohd Rashidi Bin Che Beson received his Diploma in Electronics Communication at Politeknik Sultan Abdul Halim Muadzam Shah, Jitra, Kedah. Mohd also received his Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Communication Engineering in 2007 from the Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP). He has worked as a research and development (R&D) electronic engineer at Motorola Solution and was offered a full scholarship for MSc and PhD under Skim Latihan Akademik Bumiputra (SLAB).

LiFi aims to revolutionize global connectivity by harnessing the power of visible light to transmit data, this technology can bridge the digital divide in remote and underserved regions, enabling access to high-speed internet and information, which, in turn, can facilitate online education, telemedicine, and e-government services. The adoption of LiFi-based VLC for 5G network accessibility has the capacity to drive social inclusivity, economic prosperity, and environmental conservation, making it a powerful catalyst for both local and global development.
