Manoj Sanker Ponnuswamy Ravichandran
Manoj Sanker Ponnuswamy Ravichandran started his professional career in the Software industry in the Digital Transformations unit of Infosys. He underwent a fellowship in healthcare entrepreneurship at CfHE IIT Hyderabad, immersing himself in the field to come up with the needs statement that Nemocare Wellness was built upon. His most immediate interests span smart wearables, Internet of Things (IoT) combined with machine learning, and best practices for user-experience.
Nemocare Wellness' flagship product, the Nemocare Raksha, is a first of its kind IoT enabled medical grade, AI-driven wearable for new born babies. It monitors six key vital signs, identifies and pre-emptively predicts critical distress conditions, giving the complete picture of the baby’s health. At the back-end, vital signs are analysed by deep-learning algorithms, with critical alerts given to healthcare workers to enable a timely intervention when a distress condition is detected. The simple and easy-to-use design allows it to be immediately implemented into a clinical setting when needed.
