FELLOWS ONLY
The Academy's Fellowship represents a variety of the most outstanding engineering researchers, innovators, entrepreneurs, government advisers and leaders in the UK and across the world. As part of the New Fellows' Welcome Celebrations, we are delighted to invite Fellows to a reception at the Academy's home, Prince Philip House.
The Fellowship are invited to congratulate and welcome our newly elected cohort to the Academy. The reception provides an opportunity to find out more about our newest cohort of world-class engineers. An address from the President, videos of our cohort, refreshments and a valuable chance interact with the new cohort makes up the core event programme.
This is a ticketed event open to Academy Fellows and guests of new Fellows only. Places are available on a first come, first served basis. The dress code is business attire or cocktail dress.

New Fellows Welcome Celebrations
The New Fellows' Welcome Celebrations are a three part event (dinner, briefing and reception) held over two days. Following feedback from the Fellowship, this evening reception has been added to the formal new Fellows' welcome programme to offer an opportunity for the Fellowship who wish congratulate the 2026 new Fellows and support future collaborations. The dinner and briefing elements of the celebrations are limited to new Fellows' and guests of their choosing only, due to the capacity limitations.
New Fellows will be announced following September's AGM. A link to the announcement will be added here when published.
New Fellows' should register for the Welcome Celebrations via their unique link in their welcome letter.
Photography
Please note that photography may take place during this event. All photographs and videos will be securely stored on the Academy’s servers and used for editorial, marketing and media use by the Academy and selected press or industry media. Please let us know if you do not agree to this processing. Please refer to our General Privacy Policy for more details.

Cancellations
All cancellation requests must be received in writing via email to the events team at [email protected]. A request for cancellation (and refund) will be accepted up to the deadline 6 October 2026. Royal Academy of Engineering must make commitments to suppliers at that time and making changes will result in additional costs or penalties. If the cancellation request is received after the deadline, we cannot issue a refund.
