Ummer Daraz CEng MIStructE leads Empace Civil and Structural Engineers, specialising in buildings design. A University of Bradford and Imperial College graduate practising since 2013, he vice-chairs IStructE's Small Practitioners Panel, sits on The Structural Engineer's Editorial Advisory Board, and contributed to forthcoming changes to Building Regulations Approved Document A.
