Overview
Engineering students need to understand that the future is more than being just an engineer. There is a need to capture innovation and creativity within the engineering world and encourage young engineers to be entrepreneurial for themselves, or their organisations. In the following set of topic areas, you will develop your understanding of funding for new enterprises and some key cost and time considerations that influence the amount of funding a startup requires. You will look at sources of funding along with factors that investors will assess, and which creates future value for a startup or scaleup enterprise.
