Kirsty Armer is a recognised nuclear industry leader, having held several technical, operational and commercial leadership roles within the UK and internationally, including most latterly as Vice President of Environmental Services UK at Westinghouse. She currently serves as Non-Executive Director at AWE plc; Trustee/Director at The Nuclear Institute; Lay Member of Council at the University of Lancaster; and is a Visiting Professor at the University of Manchester Dalton Nuclear Institute. She also continues to provide independent nuclear advice to government, industry, and public bodies. She is a Chartered Director, a Fellow of the Institute of Directors (IoD) and the Nuclear Institute, and holds a BSc in physics, an MBA and the IoD Diploma in Company Direction.
