Application and Assessment Process
Two-Stage Application Process: The Bhattacharyya Award uses a two-stage application system.
- Written Submission Only: For the initial application, institutions must submit a written narrative (up to 10 pages) that details the collaboration and addresses award criteria. No video is required at this stage. The Judging Panel will review submissions to select up to 6 finalists.
- Video Submission for Finalists: Only shortlisted collaborations will proceed to this second stage. Finalists will receive £5,000 to support the production of a 3-minute video highlighting the collaboration’s achievements. This video, submitted in June, will be reviewed to determine the award winner, announced at an event in late September/early October 2025.
