Annual Appeal 2022 Impact
We are grateful for the generosity of Fellows and donors across the Academy community who responded to the President’s Annual Appeal. This year, we raised almost £30,000 thanks to 39 donors, eight of whom are making their first gift.
The President’s Annual Appeal makes an important contribution to the changing needs of Academy, enabling us to direct funding where it can make the most difference. Through this appeal, we continue to invest in programmes that tackle the engineering talent shortage, nurture high-potential entrepreneurs and start-ups as they find solutions and inspire school students to become the engineers of the future.
Support from the Fellowship is vital to our success, enabling us to direct much-needed flexible funding to programmes that rely on philanthropic support, such as This is Engineering.
We are also grateful to have received significant legacy gifts from Fellows and supporters of the Academy throughout the year. Legacy gifts are essential to the long-term funding sustainability of the Academy. They make a meaningful and lasting difference to our ability to invest in areas of greatest need.
