Professor Ruth Cameron has an outstanding 30-year track record of pioneering world-class interdisciplinary research. Her transformative work has impacted the fields of medical materials, pharmaceutical engineering, and polymer engineering. As Director of the Cambridge Centre for Medical Materials, she is a leading member of the international biomaterials and tissue engineering community.

Her impressive track record of commercialisation and translation of laboratory research from bench-top to clinical products has been demonstrated via two spinout companies. These achievements have been recognised widely through fellowships, medals and prizes from learned societies.
