What is SDG 2?
As of 2017, 821 million people were estimated to be chronically undernourished, often as a direct consequence of environmental degradation, drought and biodiversity loss.
This goal aims to end all forms of hunger and malnutrition by 2030. This involves promoting sustainable agriculture, supporting small-scale farmers and equal access to land, technology and markets.
The Royal Academy of Engineering supports the Sustainable Development Goals.
