The electricity network is shifting from using conventional power stations to power converter interfaced renewables at an unprecedented rate. This move introduces new challenges that, if they are not adequately addressed, the risk of blackouts increases. This project will develop new models and study techniques to mitigate control interactions induced by power converters.
