RAEng / Leverhulme Trust Research Fellowships 2022
Hydrogen storage is an important part of the future network infrastructure for hydrogen fuel technology systems as highlighted by the UK Hydrogen Strategy 2021. My research focuses on advancing the material technical specifications for the design and operation of large-scale metallic storage tank systems. Advanced laboratory testing techniques are used to generate the material data needed for the safe design of cryogenic liquid hydrogen carrying storage tanks.
