The project's long-term goal was to provide SEND-specialized STEM careers guidance, ensuring that SEND pupils had access to the tailored support they needed to pursue equal opportunities in STEM.
Engineers worked with teams of students on three-day STEM activities and shared their engineering journeys. The project also provided information about next steps, such as apprenticeships available to young people in their local area, and engaged potential employers.
