The project ran an 8-week programme and competition that connected engineers with 120 ambitious students aged 14-16 at Harris Academy Peckham, located on London's 9th-most polluted road. The goal was to develop engineering-based solutions to mitigate local pollution issues.
The project involved a series of fun activities, fireside chats, intimate workshops, and mentoring led by inspirational young professionals. The students increased their awareness of how engineers could solve climate change and pollution issues and built a campaign to advocate for how their green solutions could benefit their communities.
