Flamingo Engineering built upon the success of its previous project, 'The mysterious case of the Elephant that forgot,' which reached 1,425 pupils across 16 schools through the delivery of 46 workshops and engaged 25 engineers. A group of engineers, engineering students, and local young adults received training and then co-delivered a workshop with ech2o. The pupils engaged in a hands-on engineering activity and used the 'Think it, Build it, Test it!' model to encourage them to view engineering as an interesting path open to all. ech2o's program continued through an engineering club that ran over six weeks after the initial workshop was completed.
