EyeCheckup is ophthalmic diagnostic software that can save millions of people from blindness with early diagnosis. EyeCheckup is an artificial intelligence system that can detect multiple eye diseases. It is the worlds first autonomous diagnostic system which uses multi modal ophthalmic imaging which are Fundus Imaging, Anterior Segment Imaging, and Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT). Images captured from ophthalmic cameras are processed through the EyeCheckup AI software which uses Artificial Intelligence algorithms to detect all relevant diseases.
EyeCheckup detects and marks all anomalies and makes a diagnosis based on these findings providing an EXPLAINABLE diagnosis. Detected anomalies can also assist ophthalmologists and optometrists in faster examination, diagnosing patients with complex eye diseases, and triage patients for appropriate referrals and treatments using a wholistic approach based on evaluation of images from different modalities. Measuring and depicting the anomalies assists eye care professionals to monitor and evaluate progress of the disease over time.
Often times a single mode of imaging is not enough to diagnose complicated retinal diseases, therefore to further increase the accuracy of diagnosis provided by for example drusen found on a fundus image could be verified by OCT imaging and a definite diagnosis for early age related macular degeneration could be made. EyeCheckup's multimodal imaging and diagnostic system provides comprehensive eye examination, generates a diagnostic report providing the diagnosis of the patient. Additionally, all relevant anomalies are annotated to assist eyecare professionals in clinical decision making.
