The system is portable, affordable and helps in faster healing of complex wounds.

It is an advanced wound healing technology that controls the wound environment and facilitates wound healing. The advanced system is a medical device that controls a wound environment at a wound site. Its an electronic device controlled by an embedded software. The device offers liquid and gaseous fluid delivery to a wound dressing and comprises a collection unit to receive the discharge fluid from the wound dressing, and a main controller that controls the device operations. In addition, the novel device comprises certain upstream sensors that detects the change in the temperature, pressure, and humidity of the fluid being delivered to the wound bed.

Further, the downstream sensors determine/detect the changes in the temperature, pressure, and humidity of the fluid coming out from the wound bed and adjust the parameters to a set value using the device. This way, the wound bed is maintained
at a predetermined parameters to obtain an optimum wound environment across the wound dressing leading to better wound healing with better clinical outcomes. The custom designed wound dressing is used with the device. In combination, both the wound dressing and the wound healing device facilitates wound healing by removing wound exudate , tissue debris, dead cells, and maintaining an optimum wound healing environment.
