Thryv Rehab Solutions is transforming upper-limb rehabilitation through intelligent, accessible robotic technology that enables data-driven recovery for individuals affected by neurological and musculoskeletal conditions. PLUTO-H (Plug and Train Robot for Hand Rehabilitation) is an innovative, portable robotic rehabilitation system designed as a practical alternative to conventional therapy and large, hospital-bound robotic systems. It addresses the global challenge of limited access to effective upper-limb rehabilitation by combining affordability, portability, and objective performance tracking, enabling high-quality therapy beyond tertiary care centres.

The system uses a single-actuator, multi-attachment architecture to deliver active, passive, resistive, and assist-as-needed therapy for the hand, wrist, and forearm. Gamified software enhances patient engagement, while integrated analytics provide clinicians with quantitative insights into recovery progress, supporting personalised and evidence-based care.
Developed by alumni of CMC Vellore and IIT Madras, PLUTO-H has completed its MVP in compliance with international safety standards, and is built under an ISO 13485 quality management system. The product is scheduled for commercial launch in the first quarter of 2026.
