Lifespark Technologies is a MedTech startup that builds medical devices and digital health solutions for neurological conditions. We build solutions for management of conditions such as Strokes, Parkinson's Disease, Spinal cord injuries and more. These conditions often involve long term management, 90% of which happens at home. However, there is a lack of home based solutions. The company consists of an 11 person team based at IIT Bombay in India, with its products currently serving over 300 families.

Lifespark is currently focused on the home based remote patient care segment (diagnostics, monitoring and therapeutics), with solutions such as the PATHFINDER platform for care management and the WALK medical device for preventing falls in Parkinson's Disease(PD). PD is the fastest growing neurological condition causing falls, fractures & disability in the elderly. There is no biomarker that can predict the incidence or progression of Parkinson’s. The disease has no cure and gets worse over time. PATHFINDER is the world's first care management platform to treat symptoms at home, preventing falls and providing timely guidance. 

WALK is a wearable neuromodulatory muscle stimulation device that improves gait and reduces falls. WALK also measures gait data that is analysed by PATHFINDER to predict fall risk, localise areas of concern, and suggest personalised physical therapy interventions. This is accessible to medical professionals with patient consent so that early risk trends can be identified, enabling proactive preventive consultations. PATHFINDER helps caregivers to develop a good understanding of “what to look for” and take proactive steps at home
