Overview
This module includes a short video, theory, real-world discussion questions, written activities, an online interactive tool and other stimulus materials. These resources were developed to help practitioners deliver the sustainability component of engineering and manufacturing related qualifications at levels 2 and 3, including the new T Level in engineering and manufacturing. They introduce the topic and stimulate learners to explore and reflect on key concepts and are designed to complement and enhance practitioners' own lesson materials and schemes of work.
Overarching themes
- What is sustainability?
- How can engineering and manufacturing contribute to a more sustainable future, including zero waste and net zero carbon emissions?
