INVITATION ONLY
If you have any questions, please email [email protected].
During the session, you will learn how to deliver ‘This is Engineering: Entertainment’ – a teaching and learning resource developed by the Academy’s education team - with a view to undertaking your own engineering outreach activities in future.
Attendees will take part in practical hands-on activities and learn how to approach connecting with schools. You will also learn how to communicate and interact with students, reaching out and inspiring the next generation to take up engineering as a profession.
You will get important information about the STEM Ambassador programme and useful tips on getting started with guidance on next steps and future opportunities.
This is Engineering: Entertainment’: explores the essential role that engineers play in the entertainment industry, from machine learning, AI and gaming, to CGI, designing high-tech sets and music production. Activities range from tracking sporting data and exploring the fourth dimension to creating light displays, investigating synthetic beats, and producing scenes from horror films.
