Professor Adam Clare FREng

Professor Adam Clare is an internationally renowned engineering expert. He has made outstanding contributions, both scientifically and technologically, in the field of manufacturing technology, having exploited fundamental innovation through two spinout companies and patented several further technologies that are being used commercially. He has played an international role in engineering leadership through a wide range of activities. He has held the Rolls-Royce/Royal Academy of Engineering Research Chair at the University of Nottingham and served as the President of the Association of Industrial Laser Users. He is currently Professor of Manufacturing Engineering at the University of British Columbia.
