Stuart Crooks CBE is a brilliant hands-on engineer and an inspirational engineering leader. He has dedicated himself to the civil nuclear industry for 35 years.  Prior to his current role directing Hinkley Point C, the largest construction project in Europe, he was the operational leader for the UK's entire fleet of civil nuclear power plants. He is a champion of gender diversity and the provision of opportunities for young people. In his previous role running the fleet of civil nuclear power plants, Stuart drove innovative solutions regarding safety,  surpassing international nuclear operation performance standards, winning recognition from the Office for Nuclear Regulation and World Association of Nuclear Operators.
