Professor Nikola Stosic is widely recognised as the world’s leading authority on twin-screw compressors and expanders. His contribution to engineering covers almost every aspect of their design and manufacture, as well as how they are used in the many industrial and commercial applications involving expansion and compression processes. Consequently, his work has made a significant impact on a wide range of industries. His design software is licensed to 60 manufacturers and his novel rotor profiling has not only improved machine performance but also significantly extended the fields and range of applications for these machines, having helped more than 80 organisations in 27 countries.
