Professor Honor Powrie has made major engineering contributions over the past 25 years, principally through the development of innovative, world-leading condition-monitoring technology and software for a wide range of mechanical and aeronautical engineering applications. The health monitoring systems that she has developed are fitted to GE aero engines on approximately one in five of the world’s commercial aircraft. Honor has also successfully delivered health monitoring solutions in other engineering domains including renewable energy, land vehicles, industrial power, and oil and gas. Honor is a recognised expert in data and analytics for asset condition monitoring and management.
