Christine Ourmieres-Widener is a senior business leader in aviation with a distinguished international career.  She has led two regional airlines as CEO, both having significant engineering teams, apprenticeship and training academies in aeronautics and aviation. She now leads TAP Air Portugal with a major body of engineers reporting to her. An aerospace engineer by origin, her career has focussed on business innovation and optimisation strategies in aviation to drive growth. She has a passion for ED&I and has relentlessly promoted pilot and engineering careers to girls and women. She is a Non-Executive Director for ZeroAvia, developing hydrogen-powered aviation, and a Non-Executive Director of the Met Office.
