Brian Holliday is Managing Director of Siemens Digital Industries UK/Ireland and Chair of Siemens Industry Software UK. He is a leading light in the field of digital manufacturing having played a significant role promoting the need for advanced manufacturing technology investment, innovation and skills development as well as working with UK Government on manufacturing matters. He is passionate about identifying and developing talent and has been a keen advocate for vocational training and apprenticeships. He is Co-Chair of the Government and Industry Made Smarter Commission, a Non-Executive Director of Make UK and Chair of CBI’s Manufacturing Council in addition to being a long-standing contributor to the Royal Society’s Science, Industry and Translation Committee.
