For remarkable contributions in engineering innovations and technology commercialization. Asad Madni was President/COO/CTO of BEI Technologies where he innovated and led the development/commercialization of sensors and systems, including the Control System for Hubble Space Telescope’s Star Selector, which provided it with unprecedented accuracy and stability, resulting in truly remarkable images that have enhanced our understanding of the universe; and the revolutionary MEMS GyroChip® technology for Electronic Stability Control/Rollover Prevention in passenger vehicles, saving countless lives worldwide.

Prior to BEI he was with Systron Donner for 18 years, eventually as Chairman/President/CEO. He is currently Distinguished Adjunct Professor/Distinguished Scientist at UCLA.
