Philip Dunford is a distinguished engineer who has made a major contribution to the international aerospace industry. A graduate of the Empire Test Pilot School, his early career in test and evaluation led to recruitment by Boeing and rise to Chief Operating Officer of Boeing Military Aircraft. In between, as Chief Engineer on the V-22 Osprey, he brought the aircraft back to flight following two high-profile accidents, finding technical solutions to a multitude of problems.
As President of the American Helicopter Society (AHS), Phil Dunford led industry towards a collective goal of reducing time to field new technology.
