Dr Niel Kempson is a distinguished engineer, a technology leader, an innovator, and is experienced at applying engineering in complex organisational settings to deliver societal benefits. He is one of the most senior engineers in UK government, occupying a critical technology leadership role.

Dr Kempson has made a major contribution through the delivery of highly complex engineering projects in the areas of telecommunications, large-scale data processing and analysis. Much of the work that he has undertaken cannot be shared but has significantly contributed to the safety of UK citizens.
