Professor Kwai Man Luk is world-renowned for his pioneering work on antennas. For decades, he has perceptively investigated the design of microstrip antennae, small antennae, dielectric antennae and complementary antennae, all of which have found application worldwide in wireless communications. In addition to his spinout company, Higain-Hitech (Yantai) Co., several other companies have been founded based on his work.

His research has featured on Chinese television and in many other Asian outlets. He has published 350 papers in leading international journals, together with three highly-regarded books and 15 international patents. His Google Scholar H-index is 64 with 15,900 citations.
