Hilary Mercer is a world-class chartered engineering professional who has delivered engineering excellence through project management of worldwide oil and gas projects. Hilary delivered the Sakhalin 2 LNG Project in Russia and has recently completed the construction of the world’s largest floating LNG facility in Korea before its deployment to Australia.

As Vice-President of Pennsylvania Chemicals, she is currently leading Shell’s development of a world class ethane cracker and associated polyethylene units in Pennsylvania, USA along with its re-entry into the commercial polyethylene business.

With 30 years of experience in all aspects of mechanical and project engineering, Hilary has a track record of excellence. She regularly speaks on the development and management of major projects and is instrumental in the development and coaching of the next generation of project professionals.
