Dr Graham Hoare has a distinguished engineering record and has made significant contributions to the global automotive sector for over 27 years. His career has been outstanding, holding senior engineering positions in the UK (Land Rover Powertrain, Chief Engineer), Germany (BMW Transmission & Driveline Chief Engineer) and the US (Director, Powertrain Research, Ford) before being appointed as Ford’s Global Director of Engineering Operations.

He holds six engineering patents and was awarded the IMechE James Clayton Prize in 2013 for his work on the Ford Ecoboost three-cylinder engine, which was the International Engine of the Year between 2012 and 2014, and continues to receive international acclaim for design and performance.
