Chad Holliday is Chairman of Shell, which is Europe's fourth largest company, and Senior Independent Director at CH2M, the employee-owned engineering consultancy. He was previously CEO/Chairman at Du Pont, one of the world's top three chemical companies, and Chairman at Bank of America.

At these organisations, he promoted engineering, technical and project execution excellence, with safety and sustainability, ensuring that all four companies lead their respective industry thinking on the sustainability agenda.

He is a former Chair of the American National Academy of Engineering, Chairman Emeritus of the US Council on Competitiveness, and until recently, Chair of the Executive Committee of United Nations Sustainable Energy for All.
