Dr Dame Angela Strank is a pioneering, executive female role model in science, engineering and business in the energy industry. She was given the government’s First Woman Award for technology, engineering and business in 2010.

Dame Angela has a broad portfolio of scientific and engineering capability across upstream exploration and downstream refining, fuels, lubricants and petrochemicals. She has expertise in fuels and lubricant product development for the automotive, marine, aviation, industrial and energy sectors.

She is also a longstanding advocate for STEM careers, sought after for her insight and experience, and has been a keynote speaker at conferences on a variety of business and technical subjects, with a strong track record in research with over 30 publications.
