Dr Andrew Palmer is an outstanding engineer who has made substantial contributions to automotive engineering, in transmission and electric vehicle design, development and manufacture. At Nissan, he reinvented the brand, launching the Leaf EV and transforming Nissan’s ailing light commercial vehicle business into a pillar of Nissan’s global portfolio.

For Aston Martin, he has developed a new product-based strategy for company turnaround securing the necessary investment. In 2015, the year-on-year sales decline was reversed with a year-on-year 11% growth.

Throughout his career, Andrew has placed engineering excellence at the forefront of his decision-making, which, coupled with robust and efficient business management, has enabled him to lead technology-driven businesses with great success.
