Andy Cowell is Managing Director of Mercedes AMG-HPP Ltd in Brixworth UK. The company has over 600 staff and designs, develops and manufactures the Mercedes Formula One hybrid power unit for three out of the 10 Formula One (F1) teams.

The Mercedes power unit is widely acknowledged as the best in F1 with nearly 50% efficiency. Andy is still very much hands on as a highly innovative and talented chief engineer, and is an inspirational business leader.

He has been at the heart of the technology creation at Mercedes’ Brixworth facility for over 12 years.
