Dr. Mahmoud Wagih

Mahmoud Wagih is a Lecturer and Royal Academy of Engineering UK IC Research Fellow at the University of Glasgow, where he leads the Green RF-Enabled Electronics Lab. He is also the founder of RX Watt Ltd., a spin-out dedicated to RF-powered battery-free sensing.

His work spans electronic materials, electromagnetics, and wireless systems, for user-centric applications and sustainable ICT, from drug-free biomedical systems to industrial monitoring. He received over 20 awards including several Best paper prizes and the Best PhD in Europe in Antennas and Propagation; he was listed on Forbes 30 Under 30 for Science and Healthcare, in 2024.
