Dr Amit N. Pujari, BE, MSc, PhD, CEng, FHEA, FRSA
Associate Professor (Reader) in Biomedical Engineering, University of Hertfordshire
Amit is an award-winning Biomedical engineer and Neuroscientist, developing pioneering neurotechnologies, i.e. assistive and rehabilitation technologies for neurological disorders. Collaborating with patients, carers, clinicians, and industry, he creates user-centred devices whilst championing affordability.
Amit’s lab’s research is currently funded by grants from EPSRC, NIHR, GCRF Funds/Academy of Medical Sciences and Royal Academy of Engineering. Amit is an outgoing RAEng/Leverhulme Trust research fellow and current RAEng Industrial Fellow. Amit was recently recognised as one of the 25 emerging research leaders in the UK healthcare by the Academy of Medical Sciences and is elected member of the UK Young Academy.
