Visiting Professor
Filip Kirazov is a Chartered Structural Engineer with over ten years of experience in large-scale projects worldwide. As an Associate at Robert Bird Group in London, he leads design teams, mentors junior engineers, and promotes sustainable practices. Filip volunteers with Search and Rescue Assistance in Disasters (SARAID) as a search and rescue technician and engineer, responding to natural disasters internationally. He is a member of the Institution of Structural Engineer’s Humanitarian and International Development Panel. Through the Visiting Professors’ programme at UCL, Filip will aim to prepare students for the challenges and opportunities of climate change and advanced technology with hands-on design modules, workshops, and site visits focused on regenerative design and resilience.
