Mr Andy Stevenson

Andy Stevenson is a qualified chartered mechanical engineer and entrepreneur with a background in offshore oil & gas, telecoms, and renewables, specialising in innovative back deck and subsea equipment design. Over the past 15 years, he has founded several businesses, gaining extensive experience across technical, commercial, and financial sectors worldwide, including in the UK, Europe, the Americas, and the Far East. As a VP, Andy will share his expertise in design, sustainability, project management, leadership, safety, business ethics, and fundraising. He will support Teesside students' development by offering advice on CVs, job interviews, and career progression. His involvement in over 500 commercial projects informs his educational approach, which he aims to integrate into Teesside's curriculum with practical, industry-aligned insights.
