Visiting Professor
Ibrahim is an Offshore, Marine & Subsea Industry Leader with 22 years experience. He has served eight years in Major Offshore Engineering & Installation Contractors, followed by 10 years with major Offshore E&P Company's leadership & PMTs, including assignments reported directly to SVP Projects & Engineering. Due to outstanding achievements in Projects & Engineering, he received the highest rank by IMarEST as Fellow, CEng CMarEng, PRI Assessor & PAEC Committee. He obtained Membership of global leadership committees such as Offshore Europe Executive & IPTC Excellence in project integration Award (2014-2024). He also received the International SPE Award - Projects category 2017, MENA Region. Ibrahim graduated from Alexandria University, 2000, BSc Marine Engineering& Naval Architecture. He studied PG Subsea Engineering at UoA 2008-2009, chaired longlist of Conferences, Workshops, panels and sessions, conducted EPAs for 40 young Engineers with RAeS. Ibrahim served as commentator at TV Programs/news websites, published two papers as lead author and comprehensive article in Marine Professional Magazine issue 1/2023. Ibrahim's aim to be achieved from this grant is closing the gap between the academia and industry, aligned with professional goals of enhancing the skills & knowledge transfer, increasing engagement& employability.
