Visiting Professor
Dr Saritha Arunkumar, with 22 years of experience in Cyber Security, specialises in Biometrics, IoT, Blockchain, and Cloud security. She holds a PhD in Mobile Security. As a Master Inventor, Saritha drives innovation workshops within IBM and academia, promoting ideation and patenting. She actively advocates for women's involvement in Cybersecurity as a Fellow and Board Director of CiiSec. Her accomplishments include the TechWomen50 award and the 2023 Princess Royal Silver Medal Award. As a VP, Saritha plans to enrich the curriculum with her industry knowledge and research, highlighting best practices for secure product development. She aims to identify curriculum gaps, recommend improvements, and ensure students receive accurate, up-to-date knowledge in security. In addition to these roles, Saritha is committed to mentoring students, fostering innovative thinking, and encouraging collaboration. Her goal is to prepare students for the evolving demands and challenges in the Cybersecurity field, helping them stay at the forefront of this critical discipline.
