Visiting Professor
Tim Kerby is a Chartered Systems Engineer experienced in delivering complex technical programmes and improving product design processes. He is the CEO of Edinburgh Systems, a consultancy he founded in 2018 that supports organisations with Systems Engineering, Systems Thinking and Product Management. Tim’s career has spanned multiple industries and disciplines, including airport infrastructure, energy, defence, automotive and consumer products. He is a firm believer in using innovation to achieve value for organisations and the wider society. Tim has recognised the need for knowledge sharing across industry and between disciplines. He is a Royal Academy of Engineering Visiting Professor in Systems Engineering at Heriot-Watt University and leads courses and research in Systems Thinking for health and social care at the University of Edinburgh. Tim is an Institution of Engineering and Technology Fellow and a Member of the International Council on Systems Engineering. He co-chairs the INCOSE Scotland group.
