Maria Alejandra Morales
Maria Alejandra Morales is passionate about sustainable innovation and eco-friendly materials. With a background in chemical engineering, she gained expertise in bio-based plastics during her studies. Her dedication extended to working on 3D printing materials with recycled polymers and rice husks hand in hand with a Swiss University. Now pursuing a PhD, she aspires to bring her products to the market.
Compositus offers a set of novel composite materials for different manufacturing techniques, such as 3D printing, developed with agroindustrial residues and biopolymers or recycled plastics. They are mainly targeted for industrial polymer processing, enabling large-scale polymer recycling and agro-industrial residue valorization, helping agricultural economies and reducing fresh plastic use.
