LUMOS is a test kit that enables quick, accurate and on-site detection of pesticides in farm produce to empower co-ops and exporters and ensure food safety for millions of consumers. HPLC/MS and GC/MS testing is expensive and time-consuming as users such as village co-ops, exporters and supermarkets can’t afford to test adequately and suffer costs, LUMOS reduces this lead time from 5 days to 30 minutes. LUMOS aims to enhance food safety and public health, improve economics for farmers and everyone in the supply chain, reduce waste and improve efficiencies.
