The conception of Adak started when its two founders met while competing in a climate change German hackathon. While visiting rural areas, they noticed that many homes had water leak problems and that large amounts of money were spent trying to locate these leaks. By implementing a smart online solution, this innovation will be able to quickly locate leaks and alert users to any unusual usage.
Adadk is capable of monitoring water management systems and pinpointing water leaks using low-cost sensors and real-time data collection with accurate and smart algorithms. The augmented reality (AR) network is designed to detect all types of leaks earlier and the autonomous learning algorithms system (MLA), allows for the precise location of water leaks to increase global water access and decrease water losses for the billions of people. Adadk has helped homes, farms, and refugee camps, reduce their water loss by more than 25 million gallons, avoid $100 million worth of damage and reduce climate impact (CO2 equivalent) by 500K metric tonnes.
