For this event we are excited to be joined by Ingenious awardee, Alexandra Knight, Founder and CEO of STEMAZING, an organisation dedicated to giving women in STEM a platform and nurturing a culture of diversity and inclusion of women in STEM.
We will hear about how they support women in engineering to be more confident, visible role models and enhance their public engagement skills. You will have the chance to meet and connect with Alexandra and other awardees from across the Awardee Excellence Community.
What to expect
The event will start with a 15 minute presentation led by Alexandra Knight, about how they equip women to level-up their confidence and communication skills for public engagement. This will be followed by two 20 minute breakout rooms where awardees will be randomly assigned to rooms to meet each other, spark discussions around the theme and talk about their wider work.
All attendees will be required to complete their Awardees Directory profile so you will easily be able to find and connect with the people you meet during and after the event. Access the Awardees Directory and complete your profile by logging in to the Awardees Area.
About the series
The Community Networking series gives you a unique opportunity to meet and connect with other awardees from across the Awardee Excellence Community. The purpose is to foster collaboration, knowledge exchange and facilitate networking in a digital environment. Each meeting will focus on a different cross cutting theme or challenge faced by Community members, relevant across disciplines such as building successful partnerships or public engagement.
