From renewable energy and recycling to making our homes more energy efficient and addressing how we feed a growing population, engineering plays an essential role in creating a sustainable world for future generations.

Sustainable Futures invites students to explore some of the pressing challenges society faces, encouraging them to think and act like engineers as they tackle sustainable innovation design challenges.

This resource engages learners in hands-on activities that demonstrate how engineering can address key sustainability issues, such as climate change, resource management, and renewable energy.

Students will explore the world of engineering and learn about the diverse roles engineers play, while developing essential transferable skills such as problem-solving, teamwork, communication and social awareness.
