Professor Matthew Robson is a world-leading authority on MRI imaging, whose expertise has spanned research innovations and successful clinical and commercial exploitation of systems he developed. At Yale, he pioneered temporal response functions of the fMRI signal. At Oxford he validated cardiac MRI at 3 Tesla, developed clinical cardiac real-time MRI T1 mapping, and ultra-short echo time imaging methods. Matthew left the University of Oxford and founded Perspectum as CTO, which now employs 240 people with HQs in Oxford, San Francisco, Dallas, Boston, Lisbon, and Singapore. At Perspectum, he has led work on quantitative mapping and body composition, including COVID-19 damage.
